Kids Connections is excited to announce our newest program!
In response to the increased demand for clothing for children in-need, we are opening a Kids Closet
designed to meet the clothing challenges facing our community youth (infant through high school). We
have created a unique store-like setting that welcomes students and their parents to "shop" for
themselves.
Kids Connections is delighted to provide this service for community youth. Here's how it works:
* School staff / service organizations contact KC with child's needs
* KC contacts child(ren's) parents to arrange a time to "shop" OR
* KC fills the order and sends clothing to school / organization
Kids Closet is located in the north portable classroom behind Vicksburg Middle School. VCS has
graciously donated the use of the space to partner with Kids Connections to continue meeting the needs of
our children. We appreciate their support in this endeavor!
All clothing/items are donated by caring community members who wish to keep their donations local.
Monetary donations are welcomed as well to purchase socks, underwear, etc. All donations are
tax-deductible (send to the address listed above). If you are interested in making a donation please
contact Kids Connections to schedule drop off or pick up.
We DO accept:
" Clean (no stains) clothing only sizes infant through adult
" All clothing must be in good shape (no broken zippers, missing buttons, etc)
" Adult clothing must be appropriate for high school students (clothing that teens would wear)
" Coats, boots, sweatshirts/pants, jeans, sweaters, pajamas, Halloween costumes
" We also accept children's books for distribution to our kids
Unless the items are NEW or packaged - We DO NOT accept:
" Shoes
" Underwear or socks (we provide NEW ones)
" Car seats, cribs, toys, bedding or other accessories
